FUNDAMENTALS OF AYURVEDA. NATURE’S MEDICINE. (5 Saturdays, 40hrs)

Ayurveda translates to “the science of life”. It comes from the ancient Sanskrit language of India, Ayur meaning “life” and Veda meaning “science or knowledge”.

Ayurveda is an integrated holistic approach to achieving and maintaining wellness, based on thousands of years of scientific study.

The healing approach of Ayurveda is to understand and treat the individual and its entire nature (body, mind, and spirit).

Ayurvedic healing method involves the healing, preventive and rejuvenating techniques using different methods. These methods include diet, lifestyle, herbs, massage, pranayama, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, gems and others. These techniques are based on the recognition of each individual constitution or Dosha.

This course is design to give you the proper tools and knowledge to help you understand what Ayurveda is and how it should be implemented. After the completion of the course you should be able to have a strong foundation; one that allows you to make the proper life changes to honor your own and unique Nature or Dosha and constitution. You should be able to give some preventive health measures to support those around you and be a better executive of your life.
